My Story
Diane Mayer Christiansen grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She struggled with the learning difference dyslexia all through academia and was unable to read until adulthood. She earned a degree in biology and worked at both the University of Chicago and Northwestern University doing research. She switched gears as an adult and began writing once her son was diagnosed with autism. Since that time she has been an advocate for those with personality and learning differences. Her true love is dystopian anything and so she has followed her heart in her newest novel SURVIVOR.
